Our Logo

Print friendly view

The logo was created specifically for the Aged Care Quality Association by a Graphic Design Artist to represent the values underpinning the association through its members.

ACQA Logo Image

The logo has been designed to represent many different elements of the Association:

The Quality Circle

The overall shape of the logo is representative of the 4 arrows cycling through the stages of the Quality Cycle of Plan, Act, Evaluate, Improve

Q

The extra small leaf on the bottom right of the logo has been included to help the overall look of the logo represent the letter 'Q' for Quality

Leaves

The use of leaves in the logo is to represent life and growth. The image of the leaf is taken from a Eucalypt to give an Australian flavour. Providing quality care for the aged is a living, dynamic, continually improving process. Also, there is life and strength in numbers. The many members of the Association makes it possible for it to be a living dynamic organism

Colours

The colours used in the logo are to signify the cycle of life that each individual must journey through in the same way as deciduous trees change through the seasons

Humanity

If you focus on the white space inside the logo, you will see an image of a person. This is to signify that all the Aged Care Quality Association does and works towards revolves around the individuals for whom we care
