Notice of 2009 AGM and Call for Nominations

Call for Nominations

In compliance with the ACQA Constitution, half the ACQA Management Committee Members must stand down every 12 months. Existing Management Committee members seeking re-election do not need to be nominated by another member.

Any committee member the Management Committee has appointed due to resignations through the year, must stand for election. They may stand for re-election along with new nominations at the Annual General Meeting.

The members of the current committee whose term has expired are:

• Darren Pike

• Danny Mitrousidis

• Trish McReynolds (filling casual vacancy)

• Marie Spiers (filling casual vacancy)

• Current Vacancy

These five positions are therefore up for re-election. In the event that more than 5 nominations are received, an election by ballot will be held at the AGM. Only nominated voting members (or their designated proxy) will be eligible to vote.

The members remaining on the Committee to continue for another year are:

• Louise Matthews

• Terry Wilby

• Matthew Kowald

Nominations are to be received by the secretary, Louise Absalom by COB Friday 25th September 2009.
