Consultancy audits will only be conducted by qualified registered aged care assessor who has current police clearance and appropriate insurance. A service agreement will be in place for each audit.

This services can provided:

• Gap audits against the accreditation standards in preparation for an upcoming site audit. These types of audits only report on gaps and are conducted over one day by three auditors including a nurse assessor.

• Full audits to identify processes and results for an upcoming self assessment. This report will provide the home with information that can be imported into their self assessment. The time frame for these audits would have to be negotiated for each home as it will be based on size and how much information is required for the self assessment.

• Audits against the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency assessment modules - conducted by two auditors in one day.

• Completion of your self-assessment. Many aged care facilities have been utilising these services and have found it very beneficial in ensuring a smooth accreditation audit.

Staff find these audits very valuable as they are free to raise any concerns and assist their organisation to move forward.

Cost:

$750:00 per day per assessor (this includes report writing for all audits except for full audits when report writing time will be charged for each auditor.) ACQA members will be offered a 10% discount!
