Members of ACQA need to make a certain level of commitment to ensure that you get the best results from your investment and membership of the association.
Information Technology
The technology requirements for accessing the ACQA website are minimal.
All that is needed is computer connected to the internet with an up to date web browser. To ensure that you get the best out of your experience, a broadband connection is recommended.
It doesn't matter what operating system you use as long as it is recent and it should also be kept updated for your own protection:
- Windows XP
- Windows Vista
- Linux variants
- Macintosh
Use of Browser versions is a matter of personal preference or organisational policy: Recommended browsers, and the only officially supported ones are:
and are available to be downloaded for free. You may need Administrator Access to your PC to upgrade or install a new browser.
Human Resources
Organisations will need to commit time for staff members to contribute to the Continuous Improvement Program. Specifically, this will include such duties as:
- understand how ACQA works
- undertake audits
- complete audits and indicators on the website
- prepare action plans to address any identified deficits
- follow-up actions
- evaluate impact of actions
- attend networking meetings
- participate in forum discussions
