The Aged Care Quality Association


The Aged Care Quality Association (ACQA) is a national not-for-profit, membership based, continuous quality improvement organisation. 

For 15 years ACQA has partnered with aged care research specialists and IT experts to develop innovative, evidence-based solutions for our members that have revolutionised the way they monitor their achievements against aged care accreditation standards. 

ACQA is committed to working with regional providers of aged care services to achieve and maintain accreditation through our unique software, training and networking.


Quarterly Network Meetings

ACQA Members meet every quarter to review changes in the regulatory environment, discuss issues relating to Quality and Safety in Aged Care, share experience and learn from one another, and help support the adoption of evidence-based practice in Residential Aged Care Facilities.

Cloud-based Software

ACQA Members gain access to our cloud-based Quality Management and Continuous Improvement software for audits, indicators, feedback and incidents registers to support their Quality and Safety activities.

ACQA and the Joanna Briggs Institute

ACQA has fifteen years of experience in the Aged Care Industry and has been collaborating with the Joanna Briggs Institute for the last five years. ACQA is now responsible for the management of the Joanna Briggs Institute Aged Care Unit, previously known as NECACU.
