In order for the Association to ensure financial sustainability a fee structure has been developed based on the member organisation's size and the number of sites they have.

This following fee structure will apply from 1 July 2008.

ORGANISATION MEMBERS

A once off application fee comprising $250 (+ GST) plus $200 (+ GST) for each site of the organisation applying for membership.

The annual membership fee is comprised of two components.

The first component is related to the number of aged care beds or places the organisation has. This component includes the first site.

1 - 40 beds or places $1350 (+ GST) per annum
41 - 80 beds or places $1650 (+ GST) per annum
81 - 120 beds or places $1950 (+ GST) per annum
121 + beds or places $2250 (+ GST) per annum

The second component relates to how many sites the organisation has.

(NB: A site is considered to be each separate aged care entity of a member organisation for which particular and identified reporting is required. An organisation will therefore submit data and receive reports for each of its ‘sites’).

An additional annual fee is payable for the second and subsequent sites of an organisation.

2nd and subsequent sites $650 (+ GST) per annum
except for small dementia specific sites $400 (+ GST) per annum

eg, an aged care organisation with a total number of places at 75 beds over 4 sites, of which 1 is a dementia unit would have an annual fee of $3350 (+ GST).

$1650 - (41 – 80 beds)
$1300 - (2 additional sites)
$400 - (1 dementia unit)

Based on this fee structure, for organisations with more than 8 sites, a separate fee structure of a flat $950 per site is required to ensure that the Association maintains a positive cash flow. A preferable arrangement is for large aged care providers to join according to logical groupings of their sites who are happy for others within that group to have access to the same data and confidential reports.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS

A once off application fee of $250 (+ GST) applies to Associate Member applications.

Associate Members are organisations wishing to be involved in the Network and share collaborative information but not be involved in the data collection. They have an annual membership fee of $250 (+ GST)

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS

Individuals with an interest in Quality in Aged Care have a membership fee of $100 (+ GST) per annum with no application fee.
